FAQs- OBD II Power Cable – BOC-400 & BOC-300

1). What kind of vehicles can use OBD II power cable?

Ans: BlackVue OBD II Power Cable Compatible with most OBD-II(16 Pin) vehicles produced since 2010 : Electric / Hybrid / Gasoline Fueled/Diesel  Fuel                       

2). What kind of vehicles can not compatible with OBD II power cable?

Ans: The BlackVue OBD II Power Cable is not compatible with vehicles that use non-standard OBD II ports, such as Tesla models.
It is also not compatible with the following vehicle models: Hyundai Santa Fe (2019–2023), Hyundai Palisade (2019–2022), Mazda CX-5 (2016), and Audi A6 (2023).

3). The BlackVue OBD II Power Cable can be used in vehicles with ISG (idle- Stop and Go) Function?

Ans: Yes.The BlackVue OBD II Power cable recognizes the ISG(idle- Stop and Go) function of the vehicle.

4).If I change the new vchicle can I keep using the OBD II Power Cable?

BOC-300
Ans: Yes.You can reset the cable and use it normally again

BOC-400
Ans: Yes. For the BOC-400, connect the cable to the OBD-II port of the new vehicle and check the vehicle compatibility again.
If the green LED turns on or blinks while the ignition is on, the cable can be used normally.

5).May I use the cable with dashcam from other brands?

Ans: No. The BlackVue OBD II power cable was only developed for BlackVue dashcams.
