📌 Step-by-Step Installation #

Step 1. Unplug cables and remove the dashcam from the windshield #

• If the dashcam is installed on the windshield, unplug all cables and remove the dashcam with mount.

Step 2. Remove the mount from the front camera #

• Press the LOCK button and pull the dashcam out of its mounting bracket.

Step 3. Slide into the dashcam with left piece #

• Slide the Tamper proof bracket (Left piece) into the dashcam until it “Clicks”.

Step 4. Plug in all dashcam cables and align with right piece #

• Plug in all dashcam cables. Align the right piece with the Tamper proof bracket (Left piece).

• The right piece is printed with the BlackVue logo.

Step 5. Combine all the pieces together and tighten via screws #

• Push the two pieces together and use the Allen wrench to tighten the two screws.

Step 6. Install the dashcam on the windshield and tighten via screw #

• Install the dashcam on the windshield at a suitable angle and tighten the screw into the Tamper proof bracket (Left piece).
